In April 2018 when I had a visitor in my studio I just wanted to show him how I start composing a track of music. So in a few minutes I did a bassline and a sequence. Our visitor said what I composed reminds him on Kraftwerk. So the idea came up to compose a complete track out of it in Kraftwerk style.

I´m very interested in Airplanes and knowing the music of Kraftwerk very well since I was a small child I knew they never did anything about airplanes. So I got the idea to fill the gap and compose the track about airplanes Kraftwerk never did themselves.

A little later Interkontinental fit very well into the concept of the "Out of the box" compilation of the Kissing sounds label and was first released in July 2018 on that sampler.

Here its finally available on a real CD and also as a download on my own account.
